Hello and welcome, I'm Lauren, the creator of LIT Handmade Ceramics. 

LIT began more than just my initials, it reflects a personal goal that guides both my life and work- to be a light in the lives of others. Inspired by the warmth and constancy of the sun, I strive eah day to bring a little more light, kindness and beauty into the world around me. 

What started as a rainy day craft at the beach with the family grew into a bonding craft that we grew to love with a passion. Our business is family owned and dedicated to creating handcrafted ceramics that are both functional and unique. Every piece is carefully made by hand, from shaping and trimming to glazing to ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike. 

We believe handmade pottery carries something special. The mugs we drink from, the bowls we gather around, and the pieces we display in our homes become part of our everyday stories. Our hope is that each piece we create brings warmth, comfort and joy to the people around.
